Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice Retired Javed Iqbal has said that this impression is false that NAB is only taking action against the opposition parties.
While addressing Anti Corruption Day ceremony, Chairman NAB said that he said corruption has penetrated deep into the society therefore a surgery is direly needed to purge the Augean stables.
He added, corruption is a cancer therefore it needs to be nip in the bud in order to put the country on road to peace and progress.
The chairman further said 382 billion rupees have so far been recovered and deposited in the government exchequer.
The NAB chairman Justice retired Javed Iqbal also said BRT project and Malam Jabba reference is ready. NAB so far has not moved in this case because of court stay orders.
